AI-GENERATED IMAGERY IS NOT ART! STOP REPOSTING OTHER PEOPLE'S ARTWORK WITHOUT CREDITING THE ORIGINAL ARTIST!

In protest of DeviantArt's lack of monitoring the blatant art theft that is occurring on this platform, I have removed all my original artworks from here and will now use it to share my dislike of AI art and those who use this platform to share the works of other artists without giving them the credit that they are due.

This will be the very last journal post that I upload to DeviantArt due to the increase of AI-generated imagery that I have seen several DA users uploading as of lately. AI-generated images are NOT art and shouldn't be uploaded to any social media platform. Why? Because Lensa and other similar AI image generators produce rip-offs of original works created by real artists. These AI engines take in massive amounts of online data and original art renderings which then produce plagiarized images that imitate those renderings but with the visage of the user. The most apparent clue to this blatant art theft is the distorted artist signatures and watermarks on these same AI images. You will also notice that the pupils on the AI portraits are askew and any hands in the image are usually mangled too. The original artists receive zero credit or compensation from the tech companies who produce these apps and collect money from their users too. This jeopardizes the livelihood of working-class
